This refund policy is a template provided with the website. Please review it and have it checked against the consumer laws that apply where you sell.
We want you to be happy with your subscription. Because Apollo Group TV works differently depending on your device and internet connection, we offer a refund window after activation so you can check it works for you.
The 24-hour refund window
You can request a refund within 24 hours of your subscription being activated if:
- the service doesn’t work on your device and we can’t get it working after you’ve tried our suggested fixes; or
- we couldn’t activate your subscription after your payment confirmed; or
- you were charged twice for the same order.
The window starts at the activation time shown in My subscription and in your activation email.
When refunds aren’t available
- Requests made after the refund window has ended.
- Cases where the problem is caused by your internet connection (for example speed below our recommendations) or by a device we told you isn’t supported, such as a Roku or a Fire TV running Vega OS.
- Change of mind after the service has been working normally, including unused time on a plan.
- Subscriptions suspended for breaking our terms, for example sharing login details.
- Fees charged by third-party apps you install, which are paid to the app developer.
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Before you ask for a refund
Most problems can be fixed quickly, so please submit a ticket first and let us try. Include your device model, the app you use and what happens. If we can’t resolve it within the refund window, we’ll process your refund. Your request counts as on time if you contact us within the window, even if we finish troubleshooting later.
How to request a refund
- Submit a ticket and choose Refund request as the problem.
- Include your order number and the reason for the refund.
- Give us a Bitcoin address for the refund. Please double-check it: Bitcoin payments can’t be reversed.
How Bitcoin refunds are paid
- We refund the value of your order in our store currency, paid in Bitcoin at the exchange rate on the day we process the refund.
- The Bitcoin network fee for sending the refund is deducted from the amount.
- We send the refund to the address you give us, usually within a few working days of approving it. We’ll email you the transaction ID.
- Once refunded, the subscription is deactivated.
If you overpaid an order by mistake, contact us and we’ll refund the difference in the same way, or add it to your next renewal if you prefer.
Unpaid or cancelled orders
If you placed an order but didn’t send a payment, you don’t need to do anything: unpaid orders are cancelled automatically. If you sent a payment for an order that was cancelled, contact us with your order number and transaction ID and we’ll either activate the order or refund you.
