This policy explains how Apollo Group Tv (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use agtv.us (the “Website”), create an account, buy a Apollo Group TV subscription or contact us. We collect only what we need to run your account, deliver your subscription and support you.

1. Data we collect

Account and order details

  • Your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Your account password (stored in encrypted form; we can’t see it).
  • The plan you bought, order dates, order numbers and invoices.
  • The device you watch on and, if you provide it, your device’s MAC address.

Payment details

  • The BTC amount, the exchange rate used and our receiving address for your order.
  • The transaction ID you submit. Bitcoin transactions are public on the blockchain, so anyone can see a transaction’s amount and addresses, but not who sent it.
  • We don’t collect card or bank details.

Subscription details

  • The login details for your Apollo Group TV subscription and its start and end dates.

Support and forms

  • Messages you send us through the contact, ticket, reseller, affiliate and review forms, and the details you include in them.

Technical data

  • Your IP address and basic device and browser information, used for security, spam protection and rate limiting.
  • Cookies that keep you logged in and remember your cart. See our cookie policy.
  • If you arrive through an affiliate link, the referral code in that link.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide your subscription: process your order, check your payment, activate your subscription and send your login details.
  • To run your account: show your subscriptions, invoices and renewal options.
  • To support you: answer messages and tickets and help with setup.
  • To send service emails: order and payment updates, activation, and a reminder before your plan ends. We don’t send marketing emails without your consent.
  • To keep the Website secure: prevent fraud, abuse and spam.
  • To pay affiliates: attribute orders to the affiliate who referred them.

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: contract (to provide your account and subscription), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving our service), legal obligation (keeping records we’re required to keep) and consent (for optional things like publishing your review).

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only when needed:

  • The Apollo Group TV provider, to create and manage your subscription. This may include your subscription username and, for some devices, your MAC address.
  • Service providers who help us run the Website, such as our hosting company, email delivery service and, if enabled, our live chat provider. They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
  • Authorities, if we’re legally required to.

We don’t sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep data

  • Account and order records: while your account is open and for as long as we need them for accounting, legal or dispute purposes afterwards.
  • Support messages and tickets: as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable time afterwards.
  • Unpublished reviews and partner applications: until they’re no longer needed.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, contact us. You can also update your details in your account. You may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and encrypted passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please keep your passwords private and use a strong, unique password.
